LingLong writes SEO articles for websites. This page says what we keep, why, who helps us run the service and how to have it deleted. Questions go to alp@linglongseo.com.
What we keep
- The website you enter, the public text we read from it and the articles we write for it. Articles are kept per website: anyone who enters the same website sees the same three free articles.
- Your email address, if you sign up, so you can sign in and see your articles, and so we can email you when a new article is ready, when we have questions about your business and once a week with your plan. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can switch each kind off in Settings. We also keep a record of which emails we sent, so none is sent twice.
- A map of your website and its icon, after you sign up: we read up to 120 public pages of your site (respecting its robots.txt) to show how they link to each other.
- On Autopilot, the address of your blog page and the look of your site (fonts, colours, sizes) read from its public pages and stylesheets. Visitors to your blog load your articles from linglongseo.com and their photos from Pexels or Wikimedia Commons; we set no cookies for them and keep no record of them beyond our hosting provider’s request logs.
- Your Google numbers, if you connect Google: through LingLong’s read-only Google account we read your site’s Google Analytics and Search Console reports (visitors, top pages, traffic sources, searches, clicks and positions) and keep a summary to show you. Remove LingLong’s access in those tools at any time.
- Your Cloudflare numbers, if you connect Cloudflare: the read-only API token you give us, stored encrypted, and a summary of your site’s Cloudflare Web Analytics (visits, top pages and where visitors come from). Disconnecting deletes the token and summary from LingLong; you can also delete the token in Cloudflare at any time.
- What you tell us: your answers to questions about your business, the dates you plan for your articles, which ones you marked as published, and whether you asked about Autopilot or analytics connections.
- Sign-in codes, stored only in scrambled (hashed) form and useless after 10 minutes.
- Two cookies that keep you signed in (for 7 days) and protect forms from misuse. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
- Your IP address, only in scrambled form and only for an hour, to stop abuse by limiting how often codes and new websites can be requested. Our hosting provider also records requests in its logs.
Who helps us
- Railway hosts the service and its database.
- Resend sends sign-in and notification emails.
- OpenRouter passes the text of your website to an AI model (OpenAI) that plans and writes the articles.
- Pexels and Wikimedia Commons supply the photos at the top of Autopilot articles. We send them only search words for a topic; visitors’ browsers load each photo from them directly.
- URL to Context, a sister service, studies your website after you sign up so the rest of your articles fit your business.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
We send these services only what they need for their part. We don’t sell your data.
Deleting your data
Signed in, use “delete account” in Settings. That removes your account, your sessions, your email settings and the websites you claimed with their articles, site maps and answers straight away. Daily backups are kept for 7 days and then replaced. You can also email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
